    On November 9, 2016 I came home surprised to see the gate to my backyard open. I walked into the backyard and noticed 2 contractors finishing up installing the new edestal for your service. I was surprised to see them since the day before there were no flags or markings from “one call”. I am curious why your new pedestal was installed 10 feet from my back patio, instead of locating it next to either of the other existing pedestals / demarks for Time Warner, Windstream, and Lincoln Electric?   • No Phone Service



    My mom’s phone service is out again, she is 94 and has life alert, lives by herself. I call at 5:45 1/14/13 to report her phone being out. I get a call back stating it will be Wednesday before anyone can come out. This happens when it rains and that has been reported and a new line was suppose to be ran a year ago.     internet speeds have dropped below what was promised, scribed for the 6mg, getting 1 or 2 and sometims zero. called cust. service everyday last week, was told they had outages in my area, cust service said it was out of their hands til the tec fix it. were going on to week 4 with little or no service, yet still being harassed by billing. other nieghbers having the same problems some of them subcribe for 12m service. looking for a solution other then "class action".   • Oversubscribed area, poor service, no credit.



    Paying for 12 mbps Internet, gettting less than 2. Some days Internet is out completely. All Windstream subscribers here seem to be in the same boat. (I'm a computer tech, so I hear many complaints about Windstream Internet). Windstream techs say the city is oversubscribed and Windstream cannot provide the speeds we are paying for.   • Refund Missing



    On July 12, 2011, I discontinued service with Windstream. The next billing period, my credit card was billed anyway. I've been waiting for two months for a refund. Now, I'm told a check will be mailed out by Oct. 3 from the corporate offices. I asked why the refund wasn't sent to my credit card and was told they don't issue refunds to credit cards once an account has been closed.     called repair out to our home 6 times in a month . alot of noise on our 2 different phone lines i pay 113 to 114.00 dollars a month for . All the repair people never fixed anything and last man here last week tired but was never completely fixed period .also everyone on our road here have highspeed internet service ,but us maybe 10 people in the middle of our road . a guy a half a mile away from us has highspeed we talked to him . and the repair men told us everyone else has it on our road to but us few people.i called windstream a few days ago lady tells me within 2 years all rural areas...     I just wanted you to know how I felt about your service. I would never refer you to anyone cause the service I have received in the short time I have had you really makes me so upset. I understand that dealing with people all day can be trying, I have worked with the public for over 30 years, but never would I treat someone the way your people have. Customer Service is a very important SKILL and maybe you and your people need to brush up on the training.
