Inadequate Internet, customer serivce, technical support - Windstream High Speed Internet

Horrible experience. I should have known last year when I connected my internet service with Windstream by the 6 week wait time for installation that this was going to a horrible company. When I had problems they were slow to respond and switched me to paperless billing without my consent, therefore bills were do and I never received them even through email. the internet connection has been horrible the whole time I have had service but at least it would only cut out half of the time. Im having a hard time finding anything positive to say about this company or their services. My troubles really began when I tried to move my service even though my husband wanted to disconnect from them. We had to pay a transfer fee, installation fee etc... then it didn't work with our connection, the tech connects is to a neighbor down the street, leaving a cable running to their house in their yard, never comes back like he should have to fix our connection port, I had to follow up about burying the lines and connection to the correct port, then the "fiber optic" cables were cut killing everyones service, I had to follow up on daily with numerous service calls, they still did not fix connection, never had action plans to correct problem, they couldn't fix then they left, no communication at all, I had to call everyday and have more service tech calls made, still with no resolution. I finally gave up and called another internet provider that was able to connect and was here within 3 days of request. Windstream has tried to make me pay for the service that I never received and couldn't use because everything was never connected. I have disputed this and was threatened with collections for not paying the additional balance. I am happy to pay the time that I had service my problem is paying for poor account management and ZERO connectivity with no intention to get me re-connected. That was the most frustrating thing...... no one completing or having a plan to correct the issue of the service request. If my company behaved in this way, I would not have a job- there would be no customers..... So my advice, be a valued customer with another Internet service provider, you will not get that from Windstream,
