worst internet provider 20yr user - DSL


we have had windstream for a little more than 7 months. the first two months my internet worked for about a week total. now our internet has been out completely for over a month, three techs out to the house, endless telephone calls with no end in sight. this is the worst internet provider that I have had in my 2o years of at home computer use. it is the only internet offered in our rural area. we are stuck paying over 100.00 a month for telephone and dsl that works less than 1/3 of the time that it should. went thru the india phase now customer service is back in kentucky. the local tech are doing the best than can, however with a parent company that charges for what they cannot deliver we should get together on a class action law suit and make them clean up their act once and for all. this is the worst internet we have encountered, we have had cox, time warner, att, and a few others and no one comes close to the horrible internet lack of access that we are currently experiencing in rural New Mexico. We are just three miles from a fiber optic line which they have neglected to get us on. over 90 users in our community.

I agree fully with you, I was told I was in an area with 12mbs which I am lucky if I get 1. They told me they have to many people on the hub where I live 200+, they are aware of the problems yet can't even give a timeframe of when it will be fixed.

I have been told they will send a teck out just to check and make sure I am having no problems, yet a tech never shows nor do they call.

I get excuse after excuse with no real answers to any of my questions.
